Almost one year on, the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show which areas have been hit hardest by Covid.
The data below shows the total number of deaths from all causes, and the number of deaths caused by Covid-19 that were registered between March 2020 and February 2021.
Here is how many people have died in each area of Blackpool since the start of the pandemic.

7. Central Blackpool
In Central Blackpool there have been 132 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 24 (18%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
In Norbreck & Bipsham there have been 123 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 22 (18%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
In Little Marton & Marton Moss Side there have been 105 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 18 (17%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
In Little Bipsham & Anchorsholme there have been 159 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 27 (17%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
In Little Layton & Little Carleton there have been 87 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 14 (16%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
