Almost one year on, the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show which areas have been hit hardest by Covid.
The data below shows the total number of deaths from all causes, and the number of deaths caused by Covid-19 that were registered between March 2020 and February 2021.
Here is how many people have died in each area of Blackpool since the start of the pandemic.

1. Stanley Park & Great Marton
In Stanley Park & Great Marton there have been 133 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 31 (23%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
2. Churchtown
In Churchtown there have been 157 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 35 (22%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
3. Park Road
In Park Road there have been 81 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 18 (22%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
4. Squires Gate
In Squires Gate there have been 161 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 34 (21%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
5. Warbreck & Bipsham Road
In Warbreck & Bipsham Road there have been 97 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 19 (20%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
6. Hawes Side
In Hawes Side there have been 84 deaths from all causes between March 2020 and February 2021, with 16 (19%) of those deaths caused by Covid-19.
