1. Queen's Drive Primary School
Queen's Drive Primary School in Fulwood temporarily closed on Monday, September 21, 2020, with pupils sent home and advised to self-isolate for 14 days.
2. Devonshire Primary Academy
It was announced last night (Sunday, September 20, 2020) that a teacher at Devonshire Primary Academy in Blackpool has tested positive for coronavirus, prompting the headteacher to order years five and six to stay at home for two weeks.
3. Pendle Primary Academy
Pendle Primary Academy in Brierfield announced the closure of the school on Monday, September 21 until October 5 due to a number of positive coronavirus cases across multiple year groups.
4. Castle View Primary School
Castle View Primary School in Lancaster announced on Monday, September 21, 2020 that a case had forced them to close the lower school. All children in reception, Year 1 and Year 2 must self isolate for 14 days.
5. Baines School
Baines School in Poulton-le-Fylde sent home all Year 11 pupils on Wednesday (September 23) after a pupil from the year group tested positive for Covid-19. The school says this will allow them to follow the guidance from the Department for Education and Public Health England to identify "students who have been in close proximity to the individual"
6. Montgomery Academy
Montgomery Academy in All Hallows Road told a number of pupils to self-isolate on Wednesday, September 23, after receiving confirmation that there have been two positive cases of Covid-19 within the school. All other pupils have been asked to continue to attend "if they remain well."
