7. Saint Aidan's Church of England High School
A number of children at Saint Aidan's Church of England High School in Cart Gate, Preesall were sent home on September 23, 2020, after one pupil was confirmed to have coronavirus. Headteacher Andy Smith said: "At this stage we believe this is an isolated case and in accordance with Government guidelines school will be open as normal for all other students tomorrow.
8. Breck Primary School
Breck Primary School in Poulton has told a number of pupils to self-isolate after confirming a positive case of Covid-19 yesterday (September, 23, 2020). "Headteacher Cheryl Brindle said: "We have been advised of a positive case and, following our robust procedures, everyone belonging to the same bubble has been asked to self-isolate.
9. Heyhouses Endowed Church of England Primary School
All 90 year 2 pupils at Heyhouses Endowed Church of England Primary School on Clarendon Road North in St Annes were ordered to stay at home on Thursday, September 24, 2020 after a teaching assistant tested positive for coronavirus.
10. Blackpool Sixth
A member of staff at Blackpool Sixth has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently self-isolating at home. Students have been told to remain at the resort college following the announcement on Thursday, September 24, 2020
11. Hodgson Academy
Hodgson Academy in Poulton has told a number of pupils to self-isolate following a confirmed positive case of coronavirus in the school on Thursday (September 17). The affected children are believed to be part of a Year seven bubble.
12. Overton St Helen’s CE Primary School
A teacher at Overton St Helen’s CE Primary School has tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Youngsters in the relevant class at the village school have been asked to self-isolate for 14 days in line with government recommendations.
