One bakery leaves town as another moves in...
Poundbakery has closed it Fleetwood branch in Lord Street.
The discount bakery reportedly closed its doors on Friday and a notice has been posted in the window, thanking people for their custom over the years.

The closure comes in the same week that Greggs confirmed they have plans to open a new store in Fleetwood. The exact location has not been confirmed at this stage, but reports suggest the new Greggs will open at the Affinity outlet shopping centre.
A spokesperson for Greggs said: “Greggs is due to open a new shop Fleetwood later this year. While we are unable to share any details at the moment, we will share further information nearer the time.”
A job advertisement for a shift manager is already being advertised for the new store which will be a first for Fleetwood.
The nearest Greggs is currently in Blackpool so it expected the new store could generate business from the whole of the North Fylde area visiting Fleetwood for a Greggs sausage roll, a tasty steak bake or a coffee.
