Peter Kay announces '˜one-night only' cancer fundraiser in Blackpool
The Phoenix Nights star, whose career was kick-started by a DVD recorded at Blackpool Tower Circus will be at the Opera House on December 2 for a one off Q&A in aid of the Polly Haydock Appeal.
The appeal is to support a Cancer Treatment Fund for mum of three Polly Haydock from Westhoughton, Bolton – Peter’s home town.

Hide AdPolly Haydock was diagnosed with cancer last year and, after receiving heart breaking news that her cancer had reached Stage four in July, Polly set about the daunting task of raising one hundred thousand pounds to receive expert treatment in Germany.
The treatment, which is unavailable in the UK, could not only prolong her life but may also help cure the disease. Polly and her family, including her three children, have been raising money for the specialist treatment via Go Fund Me and the response has been overwhelming.
At this very special Q&A in aid of Polly’s Fund, the award winning comedian will discuss his phenomenal career in comedy.

All profits from Peter Kay – A very Special Live Q&A will go towards the Polly Haydock Appeal, Polly Haydock’s My Children Need Their Mummy Cancer Treatment Fund.
The show is on Friday December 2 at Blackpool Opera House, starting at 8pm and tickets cost £35.
They are limited to a maximum of six per order and will go on sale at 9am on Saturday.
