Blackpool's Ryan Ruckledge leaves Big Brother house

Ryan Ruckledge was evicted from the Big Brother house earlier tonight - dressed in a bin bag.

The former X Factor contestant, from Blackpool, was voted out by his fellow housemates, including hair stylist Sam Giffen from Lytham, who narrowly avoided an exit himself.

Ryan, 24, was amongst the favourites to win the hit reality TV show, but has now backed Irishman Hughie Maughan to emerge victorious when the competition ends later this month.

"He is an amazing person and I can’t wait to meet him in the outside world,” he told host Emma Willis.

“I do actually like him and do want to go on dates with him; I don’t know what will happen. He best win! Or Sam…”

Ryan and Sam entered the house as fierce rivals, but appear to have grown closer during their time in the house.
