Grey skies and a worrying weather forecast could not stop Blackpool bursting with colour as this year’s Pride event kicked off its 20th anniversary celebrations in the resort.
The festival, proudly the longest running and largest Pride event in Lancashire, got under way with the famous Blackpool Pride Parade.
Starting at Sandcastle Waterpark, the parade filled the Promenade with colour, music and celebration as it made its way to North Pier.
Here are just some of the scenes from today’s Blackpool Pride Parade.
