Ukrainian fine art on show at Blackpool cafe
The Honeycomb Metamorphosis Art Exhibition opened above the Hive coffee shop, on Church Road, last week.
The colourful display of oil and acrylic paintings hails from Ukrainian artists Anna Bloomfield-Ravluic and her daughter Irina Rojin.

Hide AdDawn Mander, curator from Hive Arts, said: “They are established artists. Anna has exhibited all over the world, in London and New York.
“Anna has a huge variety of oil paintings and acrylics on a variety of subjects, like landscapes, horses, and seascapes. Irina is more conceptual. She does more modern art - it’s very different.
“The only way to understand the art is to visit it. I would encourage everybody to come. I think it is an exhibition everyone needs to see.
“The feedback has so far been 100 per cent positive. It’s very, very high-level, fine art. We’re exceptionally privileged to have Anna here in Blackpool at the Hive, and Irina as well.”

Hide AdAnna’s artistic career began 40 years ago, when she studied at a fine arts school, in Chernovtsy, Ukraine.
The Honeycomb show is not the first time her art has been put on display in Blackpool, as last year it appeared in the Open2019 exhibition at the Grundy Art Gallery on Queen Street.
Irina, meanwhile, studied at the University of the Arts in London.
Their paintings can be seen during opening hours at the Hive Coffee shop, between 8am and 5pm, until April 16. All of their artwork can be purchased from Hive Arts.
