The Blackpool attraction will reopen its doors on Saturday, May 22 after being closed since December.

The world-famous circus, based at the foot of the Tower, and run by the Endresz family for nearly 30 years, had never missed a show, even during two world wars, until the pandemic struck last year.

The Endresz brothers, clown duo Mooky and Mr Boo, who are also next door neighbours in the resort, were left to rehearse their juggling acts across the garden fence at a social distance.

A spokesman for the Tower said: “We are opening on a limited capacity and all guests are now required to book online in advance.”

The Tower also remains temporarily closed but in line with the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown, bosses are planning to reopen it from Monday, May 17.
