Reality star Charlotte Dawson has announced she is to marry her 'Prince Charming' Matt Sarsfied, after the rugby player proposed on the Fylde coast this weekend in front of her late father Les Dawson's statue.

The couple are currently in town, as they have planned a gender reveal celebration for their first child together, later today.

The pregnant make-up artist and reality TV star revealed on Instagram her partner Matt Sarsfield had got down on one knee saying she was 'completely overwhelmed' and couldn't have imagined a more perfect proposal.

She added: "My fairytale came true, I feel the luckiest girl in the world...I'm so happy."

The proposal is added excitement for the 27-year-old celebrity, who is expecting her first baby with Matt, 28, due in early 2021.

The former Ex On The Beach and Celebs Go Dating star said she was blown away by the messages of congratulations. She posted videos of their celebrations and pictures of her sparkling pear shaped engagement ring, a large diamond surrounded by jewels.

Charlotte, and former Swinton Rugby League player Matthew, have been together for four years.

They announced their baby news last month, with the celebrity and influencer, also revealing their due date was within a week of what would be her late father’s birthday- the telly legend’s 90th - February 2.

Charlotte, who now lives in Manchester, is a regular visitor to Lytham where her mother Tracy still lives in the family home.
