Guests have been busy booking online to enjoy the thrills and spills of one the resort's biggest attractions. We took a little tour behind the scenes as staff made final preparations to restart the fun at the 124 year old world-famous amusement park.

There are new dedicated ride plans with instructions situated at the front of entrances

Hand sanitisers are now a frequent sight at food outlets, ride entrances, shops and bathroom facilities.

Some of the 35 riders will require visitors to wear face masks as a further safety measure. Face coverings are now being stocked in shops around the park.

Teams around the park will be equipped with a range of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Ambassadors will be located in various areas offer advice and instructions.

Icon social distance markers have been place in the queue system.

Extra outdoor seating has been placed around the park to help with social distancing measures.
