The Woodlands club, who last played a league fixture in March last year, will start their National Two North campaign on September 4.

This will the be final 30-game season for Fylde before the National Leagues are reduced from 16 clubs to 14 for 2022/23, meaning four fewer fixtures.

Fylde's programme begins with three matches against familiar N2North rivals. They start with a lengthy trip to Northumberland to face Tynedale, where Fylde won 34-27 on their last visit in October 2019. Fylde's first home game the following Saturday is against Loughborough Students.

Fylde will return to National Two North action 18 months after their last league fixture.

They then visit Huddersfield before meeting the first of the newly promoted clubs in Harrogate at The Woodlands on September 25.

The relegation of local rivals Preston Grasshoppers means the visitors to Fylde for the Christmas game on December 18 will be Chester.

The reverse fixtures in the second half of the season come in the same order as those in the first half, except that the Tynedale rematch is the final game on April 30.

Fylde are set to take the field for the first time since lockdown in friendlies against Blackburn RFC on the final two Saturdays of this month.
