Montgomery win schools' badminton crown
Montgomery staged the Blackpool Schools' Badminton Tournament for Under-16s and made the most of home advantage.
They finished first in the four-school competition, with Highfield second, St Mary’s third and St George’s fourth.
It means Montgomery will go on to represent Blackpool at the Lancashire tournament.
Matthew Griffiths, Sam Kellett, Joel Richards and Clayton Wyles were in fine form for the winners.
