Kenyon’s ready to return at full-back

FYLDE RU welcome back Richard Kenyon as their last line of defence as they bid to maintain their 100% start to the season in a big North West derby with Sedgley Park tomorrow at The Woodlands.

Kenyon had to cry off at the last minute with a groin injury in the stirring win at Stourbridge last Saturday.

However, he is fit again and takes the No.15 jersey, with Nick Royle playing on the wing.

Centre Stephen Briers also returns, and is named as one of the back replacements.

Prop Pete Altham is rested as part of Fylde’s rotation policy.

Leaders Fylde are the only side in National League One with a maximum points haul, having taken bonus points from each of their four matches.

Asked if he was pleasantly surprised Fylde had made such a cracking start, he said: “I am neither surprised nor shocked.

“We just prepare for each match as it comes along in the same way.

“Blackpool FC were near the top of the Premier League last season, and ended up being relegated.
