GB sevens rugby team go for glory
They made it into Thursday’s final thanks to a knife-edge 7-5 win over South Africa in the semi.
GB will take on Fiji in the final.
Their efforts have guaranteed a silver medal, at least.
The tournament has been a triumph for former Kirkham Grammar School student and ex-Fylde fly-half Bibby, who has been a livewire throughout the competition.

Hide AdIn the semi-final, South African, playing with the wind at their backs In the Deodoro Stadium in Brazil, took the lead in the first half with a try but crucially failed with the conversion to go 5-0 up.
In the second half Great Britain hit back with a touchdown from Dan Norton, who danced through on the right-wing,
Tom Mitchell added the conversion, which was the difference between the two sides.
Great Britain go into the final with a 100 per cent record on the return of rugby to the Olympic schedule.
