Trainees on the right course with Blackpool FC Community Trust

The Blackpool FC Community Trust is running its third traineeship course, which starts on Monday, March 20.

The course runs for 12 weeks, aims to change lives for the better and has been made to help those who are aged 16-18, not currently in education, employment or training.

No qualifications are required and the course is free of charge.

The traineeship course also gives the opportunity for the trainees who enrol, to progress onto a further education course in sports.

The trainees will gain 216 hours of work experience and will be working within a professional football club.

Based at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool, the course provides crucial work experience .

It offers the necessary tools to gain employment through level one employability skills and level two in the principles of sports coaching.

On completion of the course, the trainees can progress on to BTEC level three in Futsal/Football studies with the Blackpool FC Community Trust.
