Sean Longstaff comes into the side to replace the injured Kelvin Mellor

Kelvin Mellor misses out with what is feared to be an ankle injury, allowing Sean Longstaff to come back into the side following a short spell out on the sidelines.

Mellor, who has been playing on the right-hand side of midfield in recent games, is likely to be replaced on the wing by Nathan Delfouneso allowing Longstaff to play in a midfield three alongside Jimmy Ryan and former Rovers midfielder Jay Spearing.

Blackpool, who enjoyed a five-game unbeaten run in February, are looking to claim their third straight away win.

It comes after 2-0 victories against both Wigan Athletic and Portsmouth last month, which left Bowyer's side five points ahead of the League One dropzone.

Meanwhile today's opponents are five points clear at the top of the table, although both Shrewsbury Town and Wigan have games in hand to play.
