Nathan Pond returns to the starting XI after his late substitute appearance in the 5-4 EFL Cup penalty shoot-out defeat to Championship side Leeds United.

Bobby Grant also returns to the starting line-up to face his old club Scunthorpe United as former Town boss Graham Alexander makes his first return to Highbury since his sacking in 2015 with his new Iron side.

Centre-half Cian Bolger moves to the bench as does new striker Aaron Amadi-Holloway who continues his recovery from an ankle injury.

Jimmy Ryan starts on the right of a midfield three as Rosler opts for a 4-3-3 formation.

Former Town loanee Josh Morris starts for Scunthorpe.

Earlier in the afternoon Town signed youngster George Glendon from Manchester City on-loan until January.

The 21-year-old was a star of the club’s Elite Development Squad last season and has captained City’s under 21 side.
