Striker Kyle Vassell who scored ‘Pool’s first goal in their 2-0 opening day win over Exeter misses out due to a knock to his hip.

His strike partner Danny Philliskirk also misses the game due to an ankle injury picked up in that game whilst captain Danny Pugh, centre-half Tom Aldred and Andy Taylor are all absent from the squad ahead of Saturday’s League Two game against local rivals Morecambe.

Brad Potts, who whipped in the cross that Troy Brown diverted into his own net to seal the 2-0 win, moves to the bench as does Bright Osayi-Samuel who pulled up with cramp in the Exeter game.

Only keeper Sam Slocombe, Kelvin Mellor, Jim McAlister and Will Aimson remain from Saturday’s starting line-up.
