TEAM NEWS: Blackpool make two changes for Plymouth clash

Jay Spearing returns to Pool's starting line-up

Gary Bowyer has opted to make two changes to his Blackpool side for today's clash against Plymouth Argyle - the Seasiders' last game of 2017.

Andy Taylor comes back into the side in place of Nathan Delfouneso, allowing Colin Daniel to push on into midfield.

Jay Spearing, meanwhile, replaces Jimmy Ryan in the middle of the park.

Viv Solomon-Otabor returns to the bench after being unavailable for selection for the 3-2 Boxing Day defeat to Scunthorpe United due to a 'disciplinary matter'.

The Seasiders will be looking to finish 2017 on a high while also putting an end to their miserable spell of form, which has seen them lose four out of their last five games.

They have also won just once in their last 11 outings.

Plymouth, meanwhile, are third in the League One form table having won four out of their last six games.

It is a spell that has seen them climb out of the dropzone and up to 19th, just one point off Gary Bowyer's men.
