Squires Gate announce the postponement of their scheduled match

The two sides were due to meet in the North West Counties League Premier Division tomorrow but it will no longer be taking place.

A club statement said: “Due to current Covid-19 regulations in Liverpool, our opponents are unable to travel to Blackpool for the match and therefore means we will not be playing on Saturday.

“The match will be rearranged in due course and we will keep supporters updated as soon as we have a new date for the fixture.”

At present, Gate’s home game against 1874 Northwich on Tuesday will still be going ahead.
