Seasiders defender seals Scottish switch
Blackpool defender Peter Hartley has tonight completed a season-long move to Scottish side Motherwell.
The 29-year-old centre-half only moved to Bloomfield Road in the summer following their promotion back to League One.
However, the performances shown so far by Pool’s other centre-halves, most notably Clark Robertson and Curtis Tilt, have seen Hartley’s first-team involvement restricted.
His only appearances so far have been the Carabao Cup and Checkatrade Trophy outings against Wigan Athletic, the latter curtailed to only 45 minutes because of illness.
