The left-back, who initially joined National League North side on a one-month deal, has started all four games for the club in that period.

The new agreement means he could come up against fellow Blackpool team-mate Macauley Wilson this weekend, who is currently on loan at AFC Fylde.

“It’s massive for everyone involved because it’s great he’s playing and getting football time playing against men," Bowyer said.

“He’s been a bit unfortunate this year but we’re happy with the relationship we have with Telford and they’ve looked after him well, so we’ll keep that going.

“It’s the same for all our young players out on loan because we think it’s important for them to go and get men’s football."

Winger Henry Cameron, meanwhile, has returned to Bloomfield Road after AFC Telford decided against extending his loan deal.

Bowyer revealed he will be looking to get him some more game time elsewhere.

The Pool boss added: “They didn’t want to extend Henry’s deal although they wanted to extend Luke’s deal as they were looking to strengthen in that area.

“It’s enabled Henry to go out there and get minutes which he hasn’t been able to do of late, but we’ll probably look to do the same again with Henry, getting him out there and getting him some game time.”
