Fleetwood, much changed enjoyed a dream start - ahead within a minute.Town haven’t made much of corners so far this season.

The first came as a corner was only half cleared Neil Kilkenny providing the cross for Garner to head home.

Four minutes later North End were level, a beautiful curled cross from the left tucked home by the in form striker.

Town were from then on fighting a rearguard action.

And with 12 minutes remaining the resistance cracked, Garner with a superb volley inside the box to break Fleetwood spirits.
