Player ratings: Our marks out of 10 after Blackpool's stalemate at Shrewsbury
Here's how Pool's players rated:
Mark Howard - 7
Earned his second clean sheet of the season with a solid display. Stood tall to make a vital stop in the final minute.
Ollie Turton - 6
Did well considering he started the game at left back and ended it in defensive midfield, two positions he’s not normally used to playing in.
Ben Heneghan - 5

Hide AdLooked off the pace. Constantly outmuscled by Lenell John-Lewis and was caught out of position far too often.
Curtis Tilt - 7
Other than one error which led to a Shrewsbury chance, the centre back delivered a dominant performance.
Paudie O’Connor - 6
Got beat for pace too easily in the full back positions, although through no real fault of his own.
Joe Bunney - 6
Delivered some dangerous balls into the Shrewsbury box having been forced into a more advanced winger’s role.
Jay Spearing - 6

Hide AdPassing was a little off at times but otherwise it was a trademark committed display from the Blackpool skipper.
Chris Taylor - 5
Appeared to lose his head early on, receiving a booking inside the first five minutes. Ended up being hauled off at half time.
John O’Sullivan - 5
Volleyed over the bar in the first half, but otherwise failed to stamp his authority on the game. Looked a little sloppy in possession at times.
Nathan Delfouneso - 6
Good in spells but never got the opportunity to properly threaten the Shrewsbury defence. Slightly wasteful at times.
Armand Gnanduillet - 6

Hide AdHad Blackpool’s best chance of the game with his attempted lob, but couldn’t build on his fine midweek display.
SUBS USED
Donervon Daniels - 6
For Taylor, 46
Unfortunate not to start after his impressive debut in the League Cup in midweek. Was solid enough in an unfamiliar right back role.
Jordan Thompson - 6
For O’Connor, 67
Offered creativity in the final third which had been sorely lacking for the opening hour of the game. Set pieces are a threat.
