Here's how Pool's players rated:

Stretchered off the pitch after just 16 minutes after a freak accident. Badly let down by defence for Burtons opener.
Caught out of position far too often and Burton exploited the space he left time and time again to good effect.

Pulled out of position to cover for others, which opened up gaps elsewhere. Came close to pulling one back at the death.
Nervy on the ball and looked uncomfortable playing on the left-hand side of the centre-back partnership.
Lost his man for Burtons first goal of the afternoon. Looks more comfortable in the centre rather than full back.
Battled to the best of his ability and showed his usual commitment on a day where everything went against Pool.
Got into a couple of promising attacking positions but failed to take advantage. Tried but role doesnt suit him.
Had Blackpools only genuine attempt of the first half with a long-range strike, but otherwise offered very little.
Got himself into some good positions but quality of his crossing let him down. Had to come inside due to diamond formation.
Possibly should have done better with an early chance before showing his frustrations with a cynical, late challenge.
Very quiet day at the office. Marked out of the game by Burtons backline who didnt give him a sniff all day.
For Howard, 16' Not an ideal situation to be brought on but his mistake gifted Burton their second of the game and flapped at too many crosses.
For Long, 59' Had no effect on the game in his half an hour on the pitch. Unsure why hes being favoured to Nathan Delfouneso.
For Thompson, 67' Looked bright and purposeful but his introduction came at a time when the game was already as good as done.
