Hide AdGate made a lively start to the game and had chances from several free-kicks without being able to capitalise.
A penalty appeal was also waved away after Ryan Riley’s cross looked to be handled but they took a 20th minute lead.
A ball through from midfield found Seear, who ran past a keeper in no man’s land before rolling the ball into the empty net.
Seear could have doubled his tally but was denied by a fine save from the home keeper, who kept out Booth’s effort from the resulting corner.

Hide AdSilsden almost levelled as a free-kick bobbled in front of keeper Ben Fletcher but Gary Pett cleared off the line.
Sumner’s cross almost crept into the Silsden goal as the first half ended with Gate 1-0 ahead.
The second half started with Gate playing some lovely football with Booth firing wide and Ric Seear scuffing a shot.
Silsden fired over on the counter before being thwarted by Ben Fletcher and seeing another effort off target.

Hide AdPett headed wide at the other end but Fletcher pulled off another top-drawer save, pushing over an effort to deny the hosts an equaliser.
However, in added time, Forrest was in the right place at the right time to fire past Fletcher to earn a draw.
Gate are back in action on Tuesday when they host Burscough (7.45pm).
