Fylde sign former Blackpool and Wigan midfielder Perkins

Kosylo, who turned 28 this week, has immediately joined Altrincham, who have replaced Fylde in the National League following their play-off success.

Signed last summer after three seasons with Halifax Town, Kosylo made 26 Fylde appearances, 23 of them in the National League, and scored his only goal in the FA Cup win over Peterborough Sports.

A Fylde statement reads: “We are disappointed it has not worked out with Matty at Mill Farm but that’s football and we wish him well with his new club, Altrincham FC.”

The statement adds that negotiations are ongoing with two more contracted players who do not feature in the club’s plans.

Fylde have also sold contracted players Tom Walker and Jordan Williams, while recruiting Chris Neal, David Perkins and Nathan Pond.

Fylde yesterday posted photographs of their first training session on social media.
