Dewsbury-Hall said: “I think everyone knows the talent in this squad. We’ve got some really good players and we’re really close-knit as a squad. It is frustrating that sometimes on the pitch we don’t show that as well as we can.

“The fans have seen in little glimpses that it’s really, really positive, but we need to focus on doing it more regularly and for longer periods in games.

“When we are doing it, we really play well. I don’t think many teams in this league, if any, will beat us when we’re playing well.

“The new gaffer is working on how he wants us to play and it will take a bit of time. But once we start gelling it should all come together.”

Dewsbury-Hall has impressed at Blackpool and has scored four times in his 10 games, three of those goals in his last four outings.

And he spoke of his satisfaction at getting regular game-time on his first loan move away from the King Power Stadium.

“I’m really, really enjoying my time here at Blackpool,” he said. “It’s my first experience of first-team football, so I’m just taking each game as it comes and learning a lot from some of the experienced lads, like Jay (Spearing).

“It’s been really positive so far and I just want to continue playing as well as I can, expressing myself and showing people what I can do.”

While Dewsbury-Hall won’t be back on the pitch anytime soon due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Foxes star will still be representing Blackpool in a worldwide FIFA 20 tournament.

It is the brainchild of League Two club Leyton Orient, who invited clubs via Twitter to join them for a video game competition.

Now 128 clubs, including Manchester City, Roma, Marseille, Orlando City, Standard Liege, Sydney FC, Genk, Istanbul Basaksehir and Benfica have selected a representative and Dewsbury-Hall will compete for the Seasiders, who have drawn Stevenage in the first round.
