Joey Barton wants to see Fleetwood keep pace with leading pack

Hide AdAnd as his side prepare to welcome Plymouth Argyle to Highbury tomorrow, Barton is determined to keep the pressure on the teams above them.
He said: “It’s just about keeping momentum going.
“We’re trying to stay with the pack and there are some big clubs in there. You’ve got to keep that points tally ticking over to stay with the bigger sides in the division.
“We did that superbly last season and got ourselves into a play-off berth, and this season we know what it’s all about.
“You’ve got to be jockeying.”
