Stockport move Fleetwood Town friendly to secret location and delay online screening

The National League club confirmed this evening that the match will instead be played at “an undisclosed location” because of “regulatory restrictions”.

A rethink has also taken place over plans to stream the behind-closed-doors game live online for supporters.

Fans will still be able to watch the game in full on Stockport County’s YouTube channel. However, it will now be pre-recorded and broadcast at 3.30pm that afternoon.

Fleetwood won their opening friendly against Carlisle United 4-2 at Poolfoot Farm on Tuesday.
