Fylde coast amateur football round-up: Thornton Cleveleys three points clear, Highfield Social lead Alliance
Oliver Wilkinson and Rob Norton netted the Thornton goals, as they had in Saturday’s 2-1 win at Burscough Richmond.
Tarren Moxon scored both for Wren Rovers as they drop a place, having climbed to seventh with Saturday’s 2-0 win at home to Hesketh Bank, Carl Eastwood scoring both.

Hide AdPoulton are back up to third after bouncing back from a 4-1 defeat at Turton with a 4-3 success at Coppull.
They were three up after 22 minutes thanks to two Max Landless goals either side of Nick Webster’s strike.
Coppull pulled one back but David Cartmell made it 4-1 at half-time. The home side scored after the break and again in the 89th minute to give Poulton a few nervous moments.
Josh Few had scored Poulton’s consolation at Turton.
Lythan Town stand fifth in division one thanks to two wins in three days.

Ryan Dodd and Marcus Young were the scorers against Wyre, for whom Josh Waite replied.

Highfield Social are the early pace-setters in the Bathroom Solutions Blackpool and Fylde Sunday Alliance after beating 21st Century Windows 5-2 thanks to a brace from Jordan Spedding and goals from Sam Dyer, Barry Davenport and Craig Worrall, while Ryan Hancock and Luke Wilks replied.
