West Lancashire League leaders Thornton Cleveleys are three points clear in the premier division after Monday's 2-2 home draw with Blackpool Wren Rovers.

Oliver Wilkinson and Rob Norton netted the Thornton goals, as they had in Saturday’s 2-1 win at Burscough Richmond.

Tarren Moxon scored both for Wren Rovers as they drop a place, having climbed to seventh with Saturday’s 2-0 win at home to Hesketh Bank, Carl Eastwood scoring both.

Poulton are back up to third after bouncing back from a 4-1 defeat at Turton with a 4-3 success at Coppull.

They were three up after 22 minutes thanks to two Max Landless goals either side of Nick Webster’s strike.

Coppull pulled one back but David Cartmell made it 4-1 at half-time. The home side scored after the break and again in the 89th minute to give Poulton a few nervous moments.

Josh Few had scored Poulton’s consolation at Turton.

Lythan Town stand fifth in division one thanks to two wins in three days.

Highfield Social are the early pace-setters in the Bathroom Solutions Blackpool and Fylde Sunday Alliance after beating 21st Century Windows 5-2 thanks to a brace from Jordan Spedding and goals from Sam Dyer, Barry Davenport and Craig Worrall, while Ryan Hancock and Luke Wilks replied.

Also in the premier division, Station won the Lytham derby 6-3 against Exceptional Kitchens with goals from Ben McKay (2), Harry Greenwood, Matty Jones, Rick Horrocks and Keith Hulme.

David Ramsden’s pair and Matt Nelson’s goal c ouldn’t save EK.

Liam Duffy and Chris Glynn’s strikes sealed a 2-0 win for Bloomfield Brewhouse over Ma Kelly’s Showboat.

The New Albert continue to dominate division one after a 7-1 thumping of Westview courtesy of a Lee Grundy hat-trick and a brace of goals each for Josh Evans and Luke Noble.

Simon Annetts and Martin Ireland were the scorers for Excelsior in their 2-0 win over Anchorsholme, while Karl McLeod scored four and Rick Fisher two as Layton beat Blackpool Town 6-3 (Luke Harris 2, Dan Dewhurst).

In the second division, Adam Hawkes hit a hat-trick for Bloomfield in the 8-4 win over Little Black Pig.

Martin Farquhar, Danny Farquhar, Matty Hole, Paul Kennedy and Joey Crookall scored the others.

Pugs’ quartet came courtesy of Chris Bardsley, Daniel Smith, Harry Taylor and an own goal.

AFC Lane Ends Blackpool beat Blackpool Elite 4-2 with goals by Jay Cathie, Jordan Dundavan, Daniel Green and Jack Yates, while Kyle Magee and Emilio Powell replied.

Highlands edged out Kirkham Town 5-4 as Jamie Hughes, Danny Dean, Rick Blampied, Liam Walsh and Lee Coker scored for the winners, Jake Russell, Simon Parker, Chris Danson and Layton Davies for Town.
