Fylde amateur football scene: Sunday Alliance and West Lancs round-up

Autos led at half-time thanks to a stunning Dax Hoogerwerf strike from halfway but the leaders rallied in the second half with two Brett Dawson strikes sealing a 2-1 win.

The Saddle stay second after Lee Catlow’s hat-trick set them on their way to an 8-1 win at Eurotech. Bradley Gill scored twice and Mark Robinson and Jackson Hulme were also on target, while Matty Graffin replied.

Nathan Fairnie and Martin Ireland were on target for in-form AFC Rangers as they pipped Additions 2-1, Ashley Robinson replying.

y.Luke Robinson scored a hat-trick as Appletree Finance beat S Royle Roofing 7-2. Ben Duffield also scored a debut brace and further goals came from Javier Marques and Lewis Phillips. Jamie Kelshaw and Karl Mcleod replied.

In division one, Anchorsholme took advantage of a depleted Athletico Tijuana side to win 3-2 and go second in the league. Adam Raybould, Daniel Smith and Scott Thompson bagged the goals for Anchorsholme, Matty Parr and James Hall for the hosts.

Barry Davenport scored for Bloomfield Brewhouse but they were held 1-1 at Belle Vue, for whom Andrew Duckworth was on target.

There was a brace each for Dwayne Greenwood and Shaun Worden as Wesham comfortably beat AFC Lane Ends Blackpool 5-1. Carl Duffy also scored and Jamie Cathie replied.

Jordan Wood, Joe Turner, Daniel Brown and Robert Hartley scored as Highfield beat AFC Jewsons 4-0. Steve Seear scored all three for Chris Allen Garages but it wasn’t enough to take all three points as The New Albert responded through Scott Salanki (2) and Liam Dowell for a 3-3 draw.

In the Berrys Beds Division One Cup, there were hat-tricks for Aaron Fleming, Luke Smith and Tyler Atack as Shovels beat Wyre 12-0. Jack Errington, Matthew Rowley and Ross Jones also scored.

In division two, leaders BES Utilities beat The Links 5-1 thanks to Jack Porter’s hat-trick and goals from Billy Dollin and Daniel Sumner. Joel Kilgallon scored a consolation penalty late on.

Eric Clayton’s hat-trick set FC Albion up for a 4-1 win at Marshall Court. Michael Crossland also scored and Chris Flynn replied.

Elliott Ramsay scored the only goal for Broomheads Estate Agency at Highlands, though the winners were grateful to a late missed penalty for keeping their 100 per cent record intact.

David Whyte scored a hat-trick, and Simon Annetts and Imran Dickinson also scored for The Bridge in their 5-5 draw at Kirkham Town, for whom Kevin Beig (2), Jason Lee, Stephen Boardman and Lewis Mayor were on target.

King Edward won 4-3 at Up-Rite Scaffolding courtesy of goals from Rob Heritage (2), Ryan Willetts and Ryan Holland. Otis Chambers, Ryan Searle and Giovanni Courte replied.

There were two goals each for Gavin Martin and Steve Turner as Lane Ends won 8-3 at Westview. Dave Smith, Ben Western, Harry Gornall and Daniel Whiteside completed the scoring, while Clayton Jones (2) and Jonathan Gough replied.

Blackpool Wren Rovers moved within two points of West Lancashire League leaders Longridge Town thanks a 5-1 win over Crooklands Casuals.

Danny Morris scored the first of his two goals after only two minutes for the visitors.

Max Landless grabbed the second and Morris gave his side a 3-0 half-time lead.

Kieran Clark netted for the hosts just after the hour before late strikes by Carl Eastwood and Landless wrapped up the win.

Longridge could only draw 1-1 at third-placed Fulwood Amateurs.

Garstang, whose Lancashire Amateur Shield semi-final against Burscough Richmond was postponed last night, won 4-2 at Lostock St Gerard’s on Saturday thanks to an Alan Coar brace.

Alex Colquhoun handed them the lead after 10 minutes. They were pegged back only for Coar to restore Garstang’s lead a minute later.

Lostock drew level again but Coar’s second of the game and a Jonny Hothersall strike sealed a win which keeps Garstang in sixth place.

One spot behind are Thornton Cleveleys, who edged out Eagley 3-2. They had to come back from two goals down but Liam Wynn and Sam Mecklenburgh made it all square by half-time.

The remarkable turnaround was completed courtesy of Tom Didlock 20 minutes from time.

Poulton remain top of division one after a 6-1 home thrashing of Dalton United thanks to Josh Few (2), Jack Flackett (2), Jimmy Gilmour and Danny Whittaker, Gareth Jones replying from the spot.

Unfortunately for Poulton second-placed Haslingden St Mary’s, who are four points behind with six games in hand, beat Lytham Town 1-0 with a stoppage-time penalty.

Wyre Villa let a three-goal lead slip against CMB. Shane Cragg, Nick Webster and Jarred Bain put them in control buy CMB hit back with two quickfire goals from Mike McGinley just before the break.

McGinley completed his hat-trick seven minutes from time to tie the match.
