Former Blackpool man joins Accrington Stanley

The 35-year-old, who made over 200 appearances for the Seasiders, has joined on non-contract terms.

The former Lincoln, Leicester and Huddersfield man could be in line to face his old team when Blackpool make the short trip to Accrington on Saturday, October 15.

Taylor-Fletcher, who was a free agent after playing at Tranmere last season, will go straight into Accrington's squad for their Checkatrade Trophy game at Chesterfield.

Stanley manager John Coleman said: “Gary has plenty of experience and has played at the highest level.

"He will be a welcome addition to the squad at a time when we have a number of players missing with injuries and suspensions.”
