Fleetwood Town's Nathan Sheron to spend next season at St Mirren

Fleetwood Town's versatile Nathan Sheron will spend the 2020/21 season on loan with Scottish Premiership side St. Mirren.

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth hails Fleetwood's efforts

The 22-year-old defender or midfielder joined Town in 2016 and enjoyed his breakthrough season in 2018/19, making 26 appearances in League One.

A product of the Liverpool youth system, Sheron made his only Fleetwood appearance this season against the Reds' Under-21s in the Leasing.com Trophy. He was loaned to Walsall in January, playing seven times in League Two.

Sheron has made 37 senior appearances in all for Fleetwood and heads north to continue his development.

St Mirren boss Jim Goodwin said: "He’s got great legs, he’s got great energy and I think the supporters will love what they see."
