Fleetwood Town midfielder wants to atone quickly for Swindon Town defeat
Jordan Rossiter has been left frustrated by Fleetwood Town’s fixture list – despite being able to enjoy a rest.
The postponement of Saturday’s scheduled game with Burton Albion means Town aren’t in action until hosting Peterborough United on Good Friday.
That means Town will have had almost two weeks between matches with Rossiter wanting to set the record straight after losing to Swindon Town last weekend.
Having had a number of Saturday-Tuesday matches of late, it’s inevitable the next game will be almost a fortnight after Town’s last outing.
“Unfortunately that’s not the case, we have to use the time wisely. We need to rest and reset, we’ve had quite a few games but that’s what you want as a player, you want to play Saturday-Tuesday.
“It’s about getting back on the training field and putting things right against Peterborough United.”
