He said: “I’m just looking forward to playing now and getting some match time under my belt.
“It’s been frustrating not being involved at Rotherham but this is an ideal opportunity for me now for a month at Fleetwood.
“It looks a good club with a good set-up, and I’ve spoken to the manager previously as well as playing against him a few times.

“I know the gaffer has been interested in me for a little while and he’s always looked at me, but the move came about last night and I drove over this morning.
“It’s been a quick turnaround but I’ve been expecting or waiting for this to happen having not been involved at Rotherham, so have been looking to get out on loan.
“Fleetwood have obviously risen through the leagues quite quickly and have a lot of different things going on.

“I’m feeling fit and I’m feeling fine. I did all the pre-season games at Rotherham and we’ve had reserve games too which I’ve played in every one. I’m raring to go.”
