Fleetwood dreams of Jamie Vardy windfall could become reality as Chelsea eye Leicester forward

After helping to fire Town into the Football League the striker moved on to Leicester, and now it is rumoured champions Chelsea are about to swoop for the England striker.
It is believed a 20 per cent sell-on clause was inserted when Vardy left Town more than five years ago, though another former club, FC Halifax Town, would also receive a chunk.

“I think it is impossible for us to say how we would spend any sell-on money because it has not even happened. I don’t think it is even right to spend money before you have it.
“It would be a pleasant problem and we watch with great interest the developments at Stamford Bridge and the King Power Stadium.”
