With the loud vocal backing of the travelling AFC Ultras, Blackpool could have been one up in the first five minutes but Ben Duffield rolled his shot wide when through on goal.
AFC were playing some excellent football through the midfield combination of the returning Zac Wilkes and Matt Muscroft.

From a rare Daisy Hill attack, Callum Kirkland did well to tip a fierce shot from Curtis Cummins away for a corner. In the dying minutes of the first half Williams’ rising shot just cleared the crossbar.
The second period was only six minutes old Daisy Hill attack they took the lead, Matt Davison firing a shot across Kirkland into the bottom corner.

Hide AdGoing behind seemed to knock the heart out of AFC as the groundhog day scenario repeated itself and Daisy Hill tarted to dominate, keeping Kirkland busy.
With the introduction of Jamie Parker and Chris Thomas from the bench AFC did have a go in the final quarter.
They thought they had equalised 10 minutes from time, when Duffield headed home a cross from Ryan Charnley, but the offside flag was raised.
