Football Insider reports the Seasiders are interested in Rochdale’s Devante Rodney, but face competition from the likes of Bristol Rovers, Wycombe Wanderers and Shrewsbury Town for the 25-year-old- who is out of contract at Spotland at the end of the season.

The attacker started his career with Manchester City’s youth academy, before making the move to Sheffield Wednesday. His first taste of senior football came with Hartlepool United, before spells with Salford City, Port Vale and Walsall. He joined Rochdale in 2022, where he has scored 17 goals in 61 outings.

Elsewhere, there has been rumours this week concerning the future of Blackpool’s Jordan Lawrence-Gabriel, with Alan Nixon reporting that Lincoln City will make a move for the wing-back at the end of the current campaign.

The 25-year-old, who spent time with Arsenal, Southend and Nottingham Forest during his youth career, made the permanent move to Bloomfield Road in 2021, following an initial loan stint away from the City Ground with the Fylde Coast club.

After missing the start of the season through injury, he has since cemented his place on the right side, making 17 appearances in League One since his return to action.
