The Seasiders, already without eight players through a combination of injury and illness, are now at breaking point ahead of Tuesday night’s game against Middlesbrough.
Matters were made even worse when Callum Connolly picked up a fifth booking of the season, meaning he will serve a one-match suspension and miss the midweek clash.
That leaves question marks over FOURTEEN of Blackpool’s players at this moment in time.
Here’s the full, gruesome picture...
1. Keshi Anderson (injured)
The midfielder pulled up with a hamstring injury on his first appearance of the season, having only just returned from two previous setbacks. While it's still too early to know the full extent, Anderson is unlikely to feature before the World Cup break. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
2. Jake Beesley (injured)
The striker is another player that hasn't seen a minute of action this season after fracturing his foot in pre-season. Michael Appleton is hopeful of having him back after the World Cup break. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
3. Liam Bridcutt (injured)
The midfielder has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury and, according to Michael Appleton, is unlikely to be back for the Middlesbrough game either. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
