In a Q&A with the EFL, Le Tissier was asked which former teammate had the best superstition before a match.
The 52-year-old replied: "I think the strangest one I saw was when I was playing in the Southampton team early on in my career with a mental goalkeeper called John Burridge.

"I always thought he might have been listening to a bit of music and things but the boys stole the tape of what he was listening to, to find out what it was.
"It was a psychologist talking to John Burridge in his own headphones, telling John just how good he was, that he was England's number one goalkeeper, that Peter Shilton was an imposter and that he was better than him."
Burridge, who made over 100 appearances for Blackpool in a four-year spell at the start of his career, later went on to play for Southampton between 1987 and 1989.
