The 21-year-old made his competitive debut for the Seasiders last night, playing the full 90 minutes as Blackpool played out a goalless draw against Barrow.
Kemp, who also featured at the weekend in the friendly against Liverpool, then scored the decisive penalty to give Pool a bonus point.
“I loved it, I loved being out there,” the winger said.

“I found out on the morning of the game that I was going to start and I was really excited, I couldn’t wait to get out there.
“It feels really good to have played my first game and now hopefully there’s a lot more to come.
“I thought it went okay. I got into some good spaces, it’s now just a case of taking that into goals and assists because that’s what I’m here for.

The Seasiders picked up a bonus point after winning 5-3 on penalties, Kemp scoring the all-important goal after Jerry Yates, Bez Lubala, Keshi Anderson and Grant Ward had all netted.
“I’m always confident in those situations, I feel as though I can produce when it needs to happen,” Kemp added.
“I always want to score goals and create things, so I was looking forward to taking a penalty and thankfully it went in.

Kemp, who only signed last week on a season-long loan deal from West Ham, has been delighted with how his first few days have gone.
“I’ve loved every minute, everyone’s made me feel so welcome - starting from the manager, his staff and the boys, they’ve all been brilliant with me and welcomed me in,” he said.
“It’s a real family club and I’m just grateful to them for welcoming me in.”
