Championship side Queens Park Rangers have rejected a £3m bid from Belgian side Club Brugge for their former Blackpool winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a breakout campaign with QPR this season, scoring six times and assisting a further eight goals.

The winger, who made the move to QPR from Blackpool in September 2017, has one year left on his current deal.

Brugge were hoping to entice Osayi-Samuel with the incentive of Champions League football next season, but their bid was knocked back.

According to Sky Sports, it's not yet known whether Brugge will return with an improved offer.

The London-born star has also recently been linked with moves to West Ham and Norwich City.

Osayi-Samuel started his career with the Seasiders having been spotted by former Pool coach Richie Kyle, who now works for the FA.

He made his debut in March 2015 in a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, going on to make 99 appearances for the club.

He's since scored 10 goals in 84 appearances for QPR.
