Here's how Pool's players rated (including a handful of the substitutes)...
1. Chris Maxwell - 7/10
Made a crucial stop right at the death to ensure Pool didn’t lose. Otherwise a virtual spectator, bar the goal.
2. Callum Connolly - 6/10
Solid and steady, but still looks to be more of a natural fit in the centre of defence. Need at least one right-back through the door.
3. Richard Keogh - 6/10
Dominant in the air and brought the ball out well, but beaten for pace too easily on a couple of occasions.
4. James Husband - 6/10
Dragged out of position on a couple of occasions, but otherwise solid. Replaced at half-time to give Marvin Ekpiteta some minutes.
5. Luke Garbutt - 6/10
Threatened from set-pieces and his delivery was excellent as usual, but Morecambe’s goal started down his side.
6. Reece James - 6/10
Made a couple of darts forward from midfield, but otherwise kept things neat and tidy. More likely to feature in defence.
