16 - Tactical battle

Blackpool have somewhat weathered the early storm and have begun to put some passages of play together, but it’s the home side that remain the most threatening when they attack with pace. Oxford do seem happy to sit back a little bit though and wait patiently for their moment.

2 - Oxford pressure

Mark Sykes gets into some space down the left, but he overhits his cross and it bobbles out for a goal kick. Oxford on the front foot early on.

After both sets of players take the knee, Blackpool’s Kenny Dougall gets the game started.

Come on you Pool!!!!

And kick-off is moments away. How are the nerves, everybody?

Can the Seasiders claim an advantage in the first leg of their play-off semi-final? Can they continue their imperious form in the play-offs? Can they take one big step towards promotion? We’ll soon find out!
