Opponents confirmed for Blackpool and Fleetwood Town in EFL Trophy

Blackpool will face Accrington Stanley and Barrow in this season's EFL Trophy group stage, while Fleetwood Town have been drawn against Carlisle United and Sunderland.

The Seasiders will contest Group G and Town are in Group A as the 32 teams to compete in the northern section have been split into eight groups.

The final team in each group will be announced tomorrow and will be one of the following 'invited teams' representing Premier League clubs: Aston Villa, Leeds United, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Blackpool face Barrow tomorrow in a pre-season friendly, while Town defeated Carlisle last week in their first warm-up game.
