Matt Scrafton's player ratings: Nottingham Forest loanee impresses despite Blackpool being held to a goalless draw against Oxford

Blackpool were left frustrated yesterday after being held to a goalless draw against Oxford United, despite dominating for large periods.

Here's how Pool's players rated:

1. Chris Maxwell - 8/10

Always quick off his line to thwart long balls over the top and produced a stunning, world-class save at the death.

Shows bags full of energy to get forward time and time again, getting into some great positions down the right.

Didn’t have to do too much defending but produced two or three wayward passes to put teammates under pressure.

Mopped up with minimal fuss but didn’t have a great deal to do, which just shows how well Blackpool performed.

Got forward well from left-back and didn’t put a foot wrong defensively. Just a shame he overhit a cross on the stroke of half-time.

Produced a clever pass for James Husband but conceded possession a little carelessly on a couple of occasions.
